Get Your Missouri Medical Card
At Green Hope, we make it quick and easy for you to get your medical marijuana card. Learn how we help you to legally access cannabis as a medical marijuana patient in Missouri.
Access the Medicine You Need
Medical cannabis was first legalized in Missouri in 2018. Despite this, there exists difficulties in obtaining the certification required to secure a marijuana card. At Green Hope, we work to ensure that our clients are able to receive access to the medicine they need.
We help you through the entire process and have devised a quick and easy step-by-step approach to simplify and speed up the process of securing your marijuana card.
We Make it Quick and Easy
When you book an online appointment, you will be evaluated by a state-licensed physician. On the day of your appointment, we ask that you bring three things with you.
- Proof of identification
- Medical records
- Payment
When you book online, you will first fill out some standard medical forms. During your evaluation, the doctor will review your medical records and discuss your existing condition with you.
A brief physical examination may also take place if necessary. The doctor will then certify you for medical cannabis use. It is important to note that our doctors cannot write prescriptions for medical marijuana.
Once you are certified, you will receive a certification allowing you to submit an application to the Department of Health and Senior Services within 30 days. This application is entirely online and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. We assist our clients through the entirety of this application process and ensure that all required information is correctly submitted.
Am I Eligible for a Marijuana Card?
We are here to simplify the process of receiving your medical marijuana card. There are a number of qualifying factors to meet to ensure that you are eligible for a marijuana card.
The first criteria is that you live primarily in Missouri – this can be proven with a state ID, a utility bill, or DMV registration. Nonemanicpated youths (18 or younger) require written consent from a parent or legal guardian at the time of the appointment.
Qualifying conditions range from chronic pain to mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. If you currently take medication to manage your pain or have seen a doctor or chiropractor because of it, you will qualify for medical cannabis use. It is also beneficial to bring relevant medical documents to your appointment.
Uses of a Marijuana Card
